Description

This Vegan Coconut Milk Coffee is the plant-based and gluten-free morning boost you are looking for! It comes together in 7 minutes, is rich and creamy in texture, and is loaded with a balance of coffee and coconut milk!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk (light)
  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare your double espresso. Pour the hot coffee into a cup or mug. Add in the sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. With the help of a frother, froth the coffee until you reach a foamy texture.

  3. Heat your coconut milk in the microwave or on the stove. Once warm, pour plant-based milk into the cup of coffee. Stir and enjoy!


Notes

You can also use leftover coffee that has been stored in the fridge to make this recipe.

If you do not have a coffee maker, heat a coffee filter with boiling water, add the coffee, and pour 60 ml of hot water evenly over it.
